Aaron Halliday
Singer, Songwriter, Performer, Composer Country
Growing up caught between the greats like Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash and Willie and those Artists that formed the majority of my live performance styles like Alan Jackson, Dwight Yoakum, George Strait and Garth Brooks created a Singer – Songwriter who fell in love with the feelings created by lyrics and melodies people could feel in their bones.
“Dirt Country” is My Country”
Sharyn and I hope you enjoy it!

Aaron Halliday’s New Single ‘Light’em Up ‘ has been described as ‘Dirt Country’ But, What is it?
It is not New Country and it is not Old Country. It is new and old all wrapped into what Country Music is supposed to be. What it used to be, songs with feeling that are directed at gaining New Country Radio notoriety.
Its a little ‘Outlaw’ in the sense that is isn’t mainstream but, it is what Country Music Radio has been missing.
Little did Aaron know when he started writing songs for the new Album “Light’em Up ” that I was heading in a direction he had not gone before. It has given way to a whole sense of freedom to perform his music his way and not worry about the confines of what songs are supposed to be and actually create what his ‘Dirt Country’ Music is intended to be.
Some of the New Album touches on the fun side of being an entertainer like the Title track “Light’em Up” and “Working On A Tan”. Others are so heart felt and raw like “(I Can’t Not) Write A Love Song” and Broken Hearts And Shattered Dreams”. All of this Album is Real Country Music, The kind of Music you will want to listen to over and over as you feel every word of every song, Happy or sad.
